Acteurs Artisans Acting in English Paris

The first group I ever taught was at the Acteurs Artisans Acting School where I stepped in to lead the Acting in English Class. We were together for 2 years and my life was never the same again because I felt that I had found my calling.

The class was made up of aspiring french actors and actresses and together we developed and explored all aspects of the actor's creative process: physical and energetic awareness, emotional unlocking, intense script analysis and english diction. We studied classic and contemporary literature and created monologues and scenes that grew in quality every week. Their fearlessness and total trust in the process led us all toward new understandings of what the actor can do as an artist that makes their own decisions within the confines of a structured stage and film environment. It was a pleasure and a revelation to have the honour to teach these talented beings.
