This group came together to explore their emotions with me. Some were students from past classes wanting to double down by taking the most intensive class of all which is the masterclass and others were people I had never met. By the end of the 3 days we felt a closeness that was heart warming. The nationalities varied and cultural backgrounds too. However authenticity brings humans together in their emotional truth. I was pleasantly surprised with the level achieved by some students that didn't believe they could do an emotional scene justice without self-sabotaging, who delivered monologues and scenes filled with emotional color and with great confidence. Those who were already more versed in the emotional prep for difficult scenes, delved deeper then ever and took the opportunity to explore personal blocks that impeded them from going that extra mile. It was an intense 3 days filled with wholesomeness, vegan chocolat, sisterhood and connection. I felt sad to have to leave this perfect bubble that we built yet grateful to have the memory of it.
