June 2026
Seville

A 5-day, 25-hour embodied process for actors/performers seeking emotional truth without forcing or performance.
📍 Seville · June 8–12 · 1–6pm daily · Limited to 12 participants
This is a focused intensive workshop for performers who are ready to deepen their emotional availability with clarity, regulation, and presence.
The work is rigorous but grounded. Emotional truth is approached through exploration and embodiment. We´ll explore how deep each artist can go and how to return to that level of depth on demand. The obejctive is to release all emotional blocks and to learn through trial and error how to harness the desired emotions on cue. We´ll explore how to create the best circumstances so that the performer won´t need to "act" but rather can make themselves open and available in a way that authentic emotion can enter their character and scene allowing themselves to be surprised by what arises which is more often than not, better and more raw than any premeditated choice.

SCHEDULE
DAY 1
Introduction to emotional authenticity. Relaxation exercises that include entries to possible blocks and their triggers to be removed so that the authentic self can shine through.
Connection exercises with the objective to share and trust the other actors as a means to go as deep as possible in a safe and supportive environment.
- Tapas after to review and unwind and enjoy the summer nights.
DAY 2
We continue the emotional unlocking process through music, movement and the initial exploration of how to create a character from a place of truth. We make space for block liberations and emotional discoveries. We become open to vulnerability on a personal level and publicly in the group, preparing the performer for public emotional authenticity on stage and on set.
- Flamenco show night and tapas.
DAY 3
We begin to prepare a monologue based on what we need to focus on, individually, and as a group. The entire time will be dedicated to exploring what your specific individual interpretation of the character is with total creative freedom and guided laboratory that encourages truthful artistry instead of old vices and superficial crutches. We will develop ways of preparing for emotionally charged scenes that work every time for each person specifically.
- Tapas after to review and unwind.
DAY 4
Revision of monologue and creation of dialogue based on the individual monologue work. We will develop exercises that create quick and intense depth between actors and explore what type of collaborative play it can incite and how to enter that flow and be authentically present and allow yourself to be surprised during a scene. We will prioritize the possible preparation tools for emotional roles and test them until we find what works on a personal level without needing to rely on luck or circumstance. Presentation of monologue to group and for the camera.
- Reviewing performances while having an aperitif by the river.
DAY 5
Continuation of the dialogue and how to remain focused and authentic with a scene partner. How to react and be a generous scene partner all-the-while maintaining creative individuality. Presentation of the scene to group and on camera. Exercises to release trapped emotions and cleansing of the tensions that may be lingering in the body. Final review of emotional development during the workshop and last questions and doubts regarding the creative process, preparation tools and maintenance of the emotional muscle and how to train and nurture it in a healthy way.
- Goodbye dinner.
